Hi all-

I'm the Outdoor Adventure columnist for the Tooele Transcript Bulletin.  Sometime this winter or next spring I would love to go horseback riding and write an article about it for the paper.

The thing is I don't own a horse and I've never been in the saddle.  Is there anybody out there that has a free afternoon, an extra horse and a healthy amount of patience, who would care to invite me along for a ride one day?

If you'd like to get a feel for the type of articles I write, please visit my website at www.bonnevillemariner.com or at www.tooeletranscript.com.

Thanks

Clint,

I would love to but just lost my only beginner-safe trail horse.  I am sure there are others in our group, but can't speak for them.  Our next meeting is Monday night at the Courthouse.  I'll bring up your request then.  I have some beginner horses but they don't leave the place (senior citizens).  I also have a fairly small breed, so if you're a large man you'll need a larger horse.   Let me talk to some others and see what we can do for you.  We have horses we put kids on on the 4th of July in the park, so I'm sure we can get one safe enough.

Our next organized rides aren't until spring though.
