Service projects in Cache Valley:

RESTORATION PROJECT
Come make a difference and work with us on a one-day restoration project and
get a free bonus Dutch oven dinner prepared by outdoor chef, Guy Perkins
from Camp Chef.
On May 31, Bear River Watershed Council in conjunction with the Logan Ranger
District, Utah Back Country Volunteers, Utah 4-Wheel Drive Association,
Wasatch Outlaw Wheelers, Bridgerland Audubon Society, DWR's Dedicated
Hunters Program, and Camp Chef will have a one-day restoration event like no
other. Volunteers will gather four miles up Millville Canyon and join
together to restore seven miles of unauthorized routes that crisscross the
upper canyon.
We will meet at the mouth of the canyon at 7:30 a.m. and then share rides up
canyon (or hike) to the work site for coffee from Café Ibis, bagels from
Einstein Bros Bagels, fruit and fruit juice. Then we’ll break into work
groups for different tasks. Dont forget to bring all the outdoor work
accoutrements like: gloves, long pants, tools, sunscreen, hat, lunch, and
water bottle. ATV's and hefty 4x4s are welcome and needed to transport
volunteers, tools and food.
Please RSVP by May 23, as we need a final number so Guy can prepare the
menu. If you would like to join in the fun or have questions please contact
Dan Miller (he won't be able to respond until after May 6th) at:

Second one:
I visited with Hardware Ranch, they have a need for some help packing
fencing supplies and possible removing old wire. I will follow up to see if
this can be coordinated with the campout for May.
